The Korean story behind president or celebrity dreams
For most of Korean history, the most powerful person in any dream would have been the king. Traditional dream books often list meeting a king or a high official as a lucky sign of honor and promotion. When Korea became a republic, the president naturally took the king's place in popular dream reading. Celebrities later joined the list as modern figures of fame and influence. The logic stays the same across the centuries. Being near someone at the top suggests that some of their status and good fortune may rub off on you, especially if they treat you kindly.
President or celebrity dream: what people do next
This is the dream most likely to send someone straight to a lottery booth. Many dreamers keep it private until the numbers are drawn. Some friends will offer to buy the dream for a small sum, a playful custom known as kkum-eul sada (꿈을 사다), or buying a dream. A dream of being ignored may instead be a nudge to speak up at work.
