The Metal Pig day pillar
a gem washed clean in clear water
What is a Metal Pig like?
Bright and perceptive, people born on a Metal Pig day have sharp senses and a gift for expression. They are drawn to what is clean, clear and beautiful. That same sensitivity means small slights can sting, and a careless comment in a group chat might stay on their mind for days.
What 辛亥 is made of
A Metal Pig day pillar means the pillar of your birth day is 辛亥 (sin-hae). In 辛亥, the top character 辛 (Yin Metal) is your day master, and the bottom character 亥, the Pig, sits in the spouse seat with Water energy. The main energy hidden in that spouse seat is "Hurting Officer" for this day master, and the day master's strength there is the "Bath" stage of the 12 life stages (a restless, curious phase). How day pillars are read

The Metal Pig at their best
Imagine a Metal Pig writing a toast so honest and polished that guests quote it back to them for years afterward.
Treating hurt feelings as passing weather, and checking the facts before drawing conclusions, helps them stay clear and calm.
Metal Pig in love and marriage
Their picture of an ideal partner is detailed and demanding, so they are rarely easy to please. Happiness tends to come closer when they look for someone who simply makes them feel relaxed and at home.
Why?
The Metal Pig's spouse seat is 亥, the Pig. Its main hidden energy, 壬, counts as "Hurting Officer" (self-expression and breaking rules) for a Yin Metal day master.
How the Metal Pig works
New ways of saying things energize the Metal Pig far more than following set answers. Working out how to say the same idea differently feels like play, and change tends to multiply their ideas. Long repetitive stretches scatter their focus. Copywriting, design and usability review, and scripting lessons or videos for educational content suit them.
The Metal Pig in 2027
For this day master, the year's fire stem counts as Seven Killings: tasks and tests that arrive without warning. Their own Pig branch brings a Hurting Officer streak, outspoken and inventive, that can answer pressure with words and ideas. Below, the Pig and the Goat link up within the Hai-Mao-Wei (Pig, Rabbit, Goat) triple combination, where clear water feeds growing Wood, so expression is likely to turn into tangible results. Sharp remarks spread just as fast, though. Every three months, gather what you wrote or made onto one page.
Why?
In the Fire Goat year (丁未), the heavenly stem 丁 is Fire, which is "Seven Killings" (pressure and challenge) for the Metal Pig's Yin Metal day master. Its earthly branch 未, the Goat, and the spouse seat 亥, the Pig, form part of a three harmony (three animals that work as a team).
